Quickie mini tote

Back in April I made this great bag for my friend Jolie's birthday. I didn't take a photo of it though (shame on me!). Anyhow, I had this little scrap of cotton kimono fabric left over from her bag that I couldn't really use for much else. Then I thought I'd try to use it as an appliqué for a simple denim mini tote. And here it is! I think it came out really well and only took about two hours to make. It's nice to start and finish a project in the same evening. I may go back and add a magnetic closure at the top once my order from tall poppy arrives.
